I’m Isaac, a fully trained based bike mechanic certified with Cytech as a Tech 3 Senior Technician.
I’ve several years of bike shop experience and have certifications with Shimano, Bosch and Fazua among others so can work on a wide range of systems/ technology.
My background before working as a mechanic was as a bike courier, I was having to do my own repairs all the time so it seemed a natural progression. Nowadays I mostly ride gravel myself though have experience working on MTB , road and commute bikes.

If you need me to come to you for diagnosis I can do callouts at a £10 fee.
These are the main services I offer, pricing for specific individual repairs can be given on inquiry. If you’re unsure of what level of service your bike needs we’ll start at the Tune Up and I’ll contact you if it needs additional work beyond the Tune Up. Similarly, if your bike needs any parts replacing I’ll always contact you with an estimate before proceeding.
Main Services
*The prices given are for labour costs only, cost of parts is additional
*Minor parts are common wear out parts that take less time to fit e.g. inner cables, chains, cassettes, chainrings, tyres etc. Major parts are things that take longer/ require the removal and reinstallation of other parts e.g. handlebars, wheels, tubeless tyres, headsets etc.
*There can sometimes be additional labour charges for things such as seized bolts and internal cable routing that take additional time. Wherever possible I’ll consult you before going ahead.
Hourly Rate for Individual repairs: £36
Basic service without cleaning; routine checks to keep you rolling. Recommended every 3 months of regular use or 6 months of infrequent use.
Includes:
Bearings (wheelhubs, headset and bottom bracket) inspecting for wear
Chain measured for wear
Tyres checked for wear
Drivetrain cleaned and lubricated in situ
Wheels checked for true in situ, minor alignments made as needed
All braking surfaces cleaned in situ
Brakes and gears adjusting as needed
Bolts checked for torque
Few minor parts fitting as needed
A more in depth service for bikes that need many adjustments and some repairs. Recommended for bikes that haven’t had regular checks or have a bit of a harder life.
Includes everything in Tune Up and:
Frame and wheels wipedown
Single brake bleed as needed
Single bearing replacement as needed (headset, bottom bracket, wheel bearings)
Many minor parts or few major parts fitting as needed
Wheels checked for true in wheelstand and trued as needed
The works; for keeping high-performance bikes on form or bikes in some disrepair.
Includes everything in Tune Up and:
Full deep clean
Both brakes bled as necessary
All bearings replaced as necessary
Many minor and major parts fitting as needed
Wheels checked for true in wheel stand, trued as needed
All spoke tensions checked with gauge, adjusted as needed
